Executive Function and Emotional Intelligence Coaching
Executive function skills are at the forefront of the brain. They are the skills necessary for mental control, task completion and self regulation. They help me, as a coach, understand your brain and how it works.

On a daily basis, we are expected to make decisions and use our working memory to navigate our day. In order to make this a successful process, we need to have task initiation, prioritization, sustained attention, and goal-directed persistence. As an executive function coach, I will work with you or your child on these skills. I’ll also focus on time management skills, problem solving techniques, organization, and stress tolerance practices.

I teach children, teens and adults how to manage life through emotional intelligence coaching. Executive function and emotional intelligence coaching complement each other, and I build from that. I design a specific plan for each situation while focusing on metacognition (self awareness), social cues and scenarios, mood regulation, relaxation and mindfulness training.

Through self monitoring, you or your child will have the opportunity to update me on current progress. During our weekly sessions and check-ins, I will assess recent development. I will also provide valuable feedback and next steps. My goal is to help kids, teens and adults stay on task, avoid distractions, reach their goals, and be successful.
