Meet Lindsay
Lindsay Strobl, MA, LSC, ADHD-CCSP, has more than 20 years of experience helping children be successful in the school setting and beyond. She works to create environments for optimal learning, skills improvement, the application of coping strategies, and trust-building. Her primary goal is to develop confident, autonomous thinkers.
Throughout her career as a school counselor, she worked tirelessly to support the needs of all students. She administered state-wide exams and taught classes on test-taking strategies, time management, career-building, interactive problem solving, test anxiety, goal setting, and other techniques. As part of a coordinated Student Support Team, she attended and actively participated in Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) meetings. She also helped implement 504 plans while working closely with teachers and school staff on classroom strategies to assist children identified with impairments.
Her passion for psychology and human behavior led to her current work in executive function. Guided by fundamentals from the pioneer in the field of executive function, Dr. Peg Dawson, Lindsay uses 12 specific skills to help children and teens be successful in and out of the classroom.

In a complex world with increasing expectations on students, Lindsay understands the importance of teaching emotional control and stress tolerance. She seeks to empower children and teens by sharing an extensive set of tools, techniques, and strategies to develop self awareness, emotional IQ, growth mindset, and self regulation. She applies this same methodology when working with high school students on college counseling. By establishing balanced college lists, organizing college research, initiating time sensitive tasks, setting realistic goals, and educating parents on the current college requirements, the college process is broken down into manageable steps.
Lindsay holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, is a licensed school counselor in North Carolina, and is an ADHD-certified clinical services provider.
